Website Producer (Volunteer)
Job Description:
Pink Strength is seeking a highly motivated and talented Web Producer to join our team. As a Web Producer, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our online presence, ensuring that our website is impactful, user-friendly, and up-to-date. Your technical expertise will contribute to our mission of connecting, supporting, and inspiring warriors and thrivers.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and maintain the Pink Strength website, ensuring it reflects our brand identity and effectively communicates our mission and services.
Regularly update and optimize website content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and accessibility.
Implement engaging and informative content, including event announcements, galleries, articles, blogs, etc. to keep our visitors engaged and informed.
Utilize SEO strategies to boost organic and paid search rankings.
Monitor website analytics to track and report on performance, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with graphic designers for a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and propose innovative solutions to enhance website functionality and user experience.
Work closely with the Director of Marketing to ensure consistent messaging and cross-promotion of content.
Collaborate with external vendors and web hosting providers as needed.
Requirements:
Highly-motivated and passionate about our mission and committed to supporting those affected by cancer.
Experience with Squarespace (preferred), Wordpress, or other website builder.
Strong understanding of web design principles, user experience, and accessibility standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.).
Familiarity with graphic design principles and tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.).
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
