Website Producer (Volunteer)

Job Description:
Pink Strength is seeking a highly motivated and talented Web Producer to join our team. As a Web Producer, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our online presence, ensuring that our website is impactful, user-friendly, and up-to-date. Your technical expertise will contribute to our mission of connecting, supporting, and inspiring warriors and thrivers.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and maintain the Pink Strength website, ensuring it reflects our brand identity and effectively communicates our mission and services.

  • Regularly update and optimize website content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and accessibility. 

  • Implement engaging and informative content, including event announcements, galleries, articles, blogs, etc. to keep our visitors engaged and informed.

  • Utilize SEO strategies to boost organic and paid search rankings.

  • Monitor website analytics to track and report on performance, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with graphic designers for a seamless and visually appealing user experience.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and propose innovative solutions to enhance website functionality and user experience.

  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to ensure consistent messaging and cross-promotion of content. 

  • Collaborate with external vendors and web hosting providers as needed.

Requirements:

  • Highly-motivated and passionate about our mission and committed to supporting those affected by cancer.

  • Experience with Squarespace (preferred), Wordpress, or other website builder.

  • Strong understanding of web design principles, user experience, and accessibility standards.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic knowledge of SEO and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.).

  • Familiarity with graphic design principles and tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.).

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
